Can JOSAM VLM be controlled by an AI agent or MCP?
Yes. JOSAM provides an MCP server, so an AI agent can connect and issue commands directly: call a specific tray to the pick opening, query item location and quantity, issue put-away instructions, and receive operating status and fault reports. This is supported across the entire VLM range, not only the JXXL-90.
What is JOSAM Agent on Call? Does it control my machine?
It is JOSAM's AI monitoring service. It continuously watches machine motion and server status, helps diagnose faults quickly when they occur, and alerts JOSAM's operations, support and management teams. It takes no part in operating the machine: it is read-only by default and writes only for system maintenance updates. It never reads what you store. All data travels over WireGuard encryption and passes only through service equipment provided by JOSAM. To have your own agent operate the machine, use MCP.
